David Moore joined Expotel Hospitality Services at its inception in May 2001 as Corporate Controller. David was instrumental in the design of our SAP accounting procedures and reporting formats. The five properties acquired as of June 2001 were all converted from centralized to decentralized accounting. His wealth of operational experience, integrity and foresight contributes to balancing goals and objectives with accounting guidelines.
Before joining Expotel, David served as General Manager of a 300-room Meristar airport property in New Orleans for four years. He was initially hired as their Director of Finance, but was quickly promoted to Assistant General Manager and then to General Manager. Prior to his tenure with Meristar, and after gaining valuable experience with AIRCOA, he served as Director of Finance for several management companies in various properties across the country ranging from 100-room boutique hotels to 800-room convention hotels over the course of fifteen years.
David graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. degree in Business Management. He currently resides in New Orleans with his wife and two children.
