Expotel Hospitality Proudly Serves Habitat For Humanity
New Orleans, LA (May, 2008) – Executives from Expotel Hospitality Services and the Corporate staff participated in Habitat for Humanity in order to lend their support as well as their ‘hammers’ to help re-build housing in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans. The area was hardest hit from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina back in September of 2005.

The Hampton Inn Metairie continues its donations and charity participation for the locally sponsored Dancing for Dystrophy- a non profit organization developed in the interest of raising funds to support Camp Sunshine. Each summer Camp Sunshine provides one week of activities and fun for nearly 100 seriously ill children that have been diagnosed with neuromuscular disorders. The camp allows these children to interact with their peers in a way that they are unable to complete the remainder of the school year because of their disease. The campers are able to go fishing, swimming, play football, and interact with other kids their age. It is the one week out of the year where they can truly be kids!

Hilton Melbourne continues to lend a helping hand for The Haven For Children, Inc. - a non profit that provides residential group homes for 30 infants and children, birth to nine years of age, who have been removed from their own homes because of abuse or neglect.

Hilton Mebourne stands out in Brevard County as one of the leading charitable donors for United Way of Brevard County - a non profit organization that solicits donations on behalf of almost 100 agencies who provide critical services for those less fortunate in the Brevard County area. The hotel also enthusiastically supports numerous other charities in the Melbourne area including the Space Coast Early Intervention Center where children with learning and other disabilities receive special educational instruction and the Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc., a group who provides critical services to children with cancer.

In their continued support of Special Olympics Tennessee, in May 2002 the Holiday Inn Brentwood held an Art Expo to allow a group of Athletes to demonstrate their artistic talents. The Athletes joined the hotel again in June of 2002 to celebrate the hotel's Grand Re-Opening as a newly renovated property and member of the Expotel family.

The Hilton Melbourne at Rialto Place, FL has joined as an active member of the Board of Directors for The Haven, an organization who runs two homes for abused or neglected children. The hotel is an active sponsor in their fundraising activities.
