Expotel Hospitality Services has designed and developed the most unique and progressive restaurant concept in our industry! We are proud to open our first six Lafitte’s Restaurants in July of 2002.
After a year’s worth of creating, detailing, finalizing, and testing again and again, we feel we have a fail-safe product and presentation that will be both profitable for our Hotels and be a memorable dining experience for our customers.
Lafitte’s was born from a passionate desire to offer an authentic dining experience that far exceeded the average "hotel restaurant" offering of today. We chose Louisiana cuisine as our target, not only because our New Orleans-based company has many Louisiana food "aficionados", but also because we believe such fare has broad appeal and can be both "comfort food" as well as a gourmet experience for our customer. We then joined forces with one of Louisiana’s most renowned chefs and current President of the American Culinary Institute, Mr. John Folse, to create our menu selections and develop flawless recipes and presentation. The result is a delightful combination of Lousiana cuisines, incorporating Cajun, Bayou, Creole, and other local cultural tastes and ingredients.
Lafitte’s Restaurants offer the freshest and finest ingredients in a variety of affordable dishes. There are the authentic Louisiana dishes - Jambalaya, Crawfish Etoufee, Gumbos and other delicious soups, and the Louisiana staple of Red Beans and Rice. A great selection of salads and "Po’ Boy" sandwiches are also available for lunch, and dinner includes traditional prime rib fare as well as fresh fish and a scrumptious pork chop dish. Many of our guests comment that they know real Louisiana food, and they concur that Lafitte’s is indeed the real thing!
All Lafitte’s Restaurants follow the same stringent attention to detail in the production and presentation of our superb food, ensuring consistency and quality from location to location. The Lafitte’s restaurant décor and design is also consistent, with delightful New Orleans scenery on the wall murals and toe-tapping music from the "Jazz City". Mardi Gras beads are a staple upon greeting and at the tables.
